On the morning of June 14, in Quynh Anh commune (Nghe An), the inauguration ceremony of the Project to Repair and Restore the Relic of the Church and Tomb of Comrade Ho Tung Mau was solemnly held to celebrate the 130th Anniversary of his birth (June 15, 1896 - June 15, 2026), contributing to preserving heritage and educating revolutionary traditions.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Doan Minh Huan - Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Nguyen Doan Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee; Doan Xuan Buong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Political Commissar of Military Region 4; Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, along with many central and local leaders and representatives of the family and clan of comrade Ho Tung Mau.

Comrade Ho Tung Mau (birth name Ho Ba Cu) was born in 1896 in Quynh Doi village, now Quynh Anh commune. He was an excellent student of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, former alternate member of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Inspection Committee. With 55 years of age, more than 30 years of revolutionary activities, and many times imprisoned, he still maintained his faith and steadfastly pursued the ideal of national independence.
Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than emphasized: The life and activities of comrade Ho Tung Mau are a vivid proof of the political bravery, steadfast will and dedication of the generation of communist soldiers. His example of loyalty, dedication, and diligence, thrift, and integrity will forever be a valuable lesson for today's and future generations.
The church and tomb of comrade Ho Tung Mau were ranked as a National Historical Relic from February 2000. The renovation and restoration project started in 2015, and by 2025 it was transferred to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism as the investor and is now officially completed. This is a meaningful red address in patriotic tradition education and revolutionary ideals.
On this occasion, Party and State leaders and Nghe An province expressed their determination to promote the heroic Soviet homeland tradition, towards 2030 - the milestone of 1,300 years of Nghe An title, and at the same time celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Party's establishment and the 100th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement, striving to soon make Nghe An a fairly developed province of the country, with a national-level growth pole.
