Tran Dai Nghia Elementary School is located on Huong Lo 3 street, built on a land area of more than 8,800 m2 in Binh Hung Hoa ward. This is part of the land reuse plan after relocating Binh Hung Hoa cemetery - a cemetery formed in the 1970s with an area of about 44.5 hectares and nearly 54,000 graves.

The school is designed with 1 ground floor, 3 floors with 30 standard classrooms. Each room is fully equipped with modern teaching equipment, notably a 65-inch interactive board. In addition, the school also has subject rooms, libraries, administrative areas and a spacious playground for students.
Ms. Van Minh Tan - Principal of Tran Dai Nghia Primary School said that in the 2025-2026 school year, the school has received 160 first-grade students temporarily studying at other facilities because the project is not completed. Entering the 2026-2027 school year, these students will go to grade 2 and the school is assigned to recruit 10 new first-grade students.
For the remaining grades, the school will receive transferred students from schools in the ward, especially prioritizing reducing the load for schools with too many students.

Currently, the school has 13 officials and employees. In the next school year, the locality plans to add 13 more staff, raising the total number of personnel to about 26 people to meet teaching needs.
At the inauguration ceremony, many parents expressed their excitement when their children were able to study in a new, spacious and modern environment.
Ms. Mai Thi Thanh Thuy, a parent whose child is in 1st grade at the school, said: "At first, I was quite worried because my child had to study temporarily elsewhere. Now the school has just been completed, the facilities are spacious, the classrooms are clean and beautiful, so I am very happy and more reassured. Having more schools right in the area helps parents to be less vất vả, and students have better learning conditions," Ms. Thuy shared.

Meanwhile, Ms. Le Thi Thuy Dung, a parent whose child is preparing to enter 1st grade next school year, said that her family is very happy that her child is studying at a new school right near her house. "My child is studying in such a fully equipped environment, so the family is very reassured. I think my child is lucky to study at the new school," Ms. Dung shared.
On the same morning, many parents brought their children to attend the inauguration ceremony, visit classrooms, campuses and functional rooms. Many people expect that putting more new schools into operation will contribute to reducing the pressure of class sizes, creating conditions for students to study in a better environment right from elementary school.
Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong said that today's inauguration ceremony is not only a joy for the education sector, the government and people of Binh Hung Hoa ward, but also a vivid proof of the city's determination to prioritize investment in education and care for future generations.
