At this session, the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong Province examined the results of the supervision of the Party Committee of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Hai Duong Province and the Standing Board of the Kinh Mon Town Party Committee in the management of the environment at the Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant.
Through the supervision, the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong Province found that the Party Committee of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Standing Board of the Kinh Mon Town Party Committee had paid attention to leadership, direction, dissemination, and implementation of environmental regulations; directed the rectification and correction of some environmental violations caused by the Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant in Kinh Mon Town.
However, the Party Committee of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Standing Board of the Kinh Mon Town Party Committee still had some limitations and shortcomings in the leadership and direction of the implementation of their functional management of the environment; failed to timely coordinate with relevant agencies in advising the competent authority to handle some emerging issues at the Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant project.
The Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong Province requested the Party Committee of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Standing Board of the Kinh Mon Town Party Committee to examine and learn from their experiences and direct the examination of the responsibility of party organizations, party members, and individuals involved in the management of the environment at the Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant.
Through examination, the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong Province also found that the Standing Boards of the District Party Committees of Cam Giang, Thanh Ha, and some grassroots party committees still had some limitations and shortcomings in leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of tasks of inspection, supervision, and discipline within the Party.
The Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong Province requested the relevant agencies to direct the review, supplementation, and revision of their working regulations in accordance with the regulations of the Central Committee; proactively direct the rectification of the limitations and shortcomings identified through inspection; strengthen leadership, direction, and guidance of grassroots party committees and inspection committees in the effective implementation of inspection and supervision tasks in the coming time.
Notably, regarding the results of the verification of the property and income declarations of 6 officials under the management of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong Province working in Cam Giang and Thanh Ha districts, the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong Province found that the officials had basically implemented the property and income declarations in accordance with the regulations.
However, the property and income declarations of the officials still had some limitations, shortcomings, and shortcomings.
