Personnel of the commune-level Military Command in many localities have been consolidated in recent days.

On January 12, according to information from the Government Electronic Information Portal, the Ministry of Justice is currently appraising the Draft Resolution of the Government on the organization and operation of the Military Command of communes, wards, and special zones.

The Ministry of National Defense will then receive appraisal opinions, carefully review, and complete the draft Resolution to submit to the Government for consideration and decision.

The draft Resolution is built to arrange the Military Command (MOC) at the commune level in accordance with the political system, the viewpoints of the all-people national defense line, and the people's war.

The commune-level Military Command has legal status, seals, accounts, private headquarters and performs a number of tasks such as: Training, combat readiness; force building; building and operating defense areas...

Also according to the Government Electronic Information Portal, in recent days, a series of localities have urgently consolidated the personnel of the Commune-level Military Command.

In which, the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command deployed the work of selecting and appointing positions of the Commune-level Military Command in accordance with the staff regulations and Conclusion No. 164-KL/TW dated June 6, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat.

Conduct review and fully prepare appointment procedures to ensure compliance with conditions and standards according to the provisions of the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces No. 48/2019/QH14, amended and supplemented in Law No. 98/2025/QH15.

The Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command established a Steering Committee and a standing agency to urgently develop a personnel project for the commune-level Military Command to ensure standards, conditions, and reasonable structure, close to the characteristics and actual situation of each locality.

In the process of implementation, the work of reviewing and evaluating cadres is carried out thoroughly, objectively, and comprehensively, ensuring that there are no shortcomings of cadres who meet the standards, have capacity, qualities, and meet task requirements.

The Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has also just requested to urgently consolidate the sufficient number of cadres of the Commune-level Military Command.

Accordingly, the Provincial Military Party Committee and the Party Committees of communes and wards are required to, based on Conclusion No. 228 dated December 31, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the situation and operating results of the political system and local government at 2 levels and the regulations and guidelines of the Central Government, urgently consolidate the sufficient number of cadres of the Commune-level Military Command.

Review the number of Commanders of the Commune-level Military Command appointed according to Conclusion No. 164, dated June 6, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat to fully implement standards and university degrees in grassroots military, senior political theory and position planning in the 2025-2030 term.

Most recently, on January 12, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee organized the announcement and awarding decisions to appoint 95 regular military officers as Commanders of the Commune and Ward Military Commands.

These are regular military officers appointed to hold the position of Commanders of the Military Command Boards of communes and wards of Dong Nai province replacing 95 Commanders of the Military Command Boards at the commune level who have just been dismissed from their positions.
