National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh: This election has some new points, in which the biggest difference is the shortening of the time compared to previous elections by more than 2 months.
However, the election procedures, especially the 3 rounds of consultations and personnel requirements are still maintained as in previous sessions. Even, there are stricter guidelines in selecting and screening candidates.
