Kpop Demon Hunters is currently one of the most popular cartoons on Netflix worldwide.
In particular, all the soundtrack songs of the two virtual music groups (fiction) in the film, Huntr/x and Saja Boys, have achieved impressive results on real-life music charts.
According to the latest announcement from Billboard, the two songs in the film, "Your Idol" by boy group Saja Boys and "Golden" by girl group Huntr/x, have debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, at No. 77 and No. 81, respectively.
The soundtrack album Kpop Demon Hunters also entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 8, becoming the soundtrack album with the most successful debut on the Billboard 200 in 2025.
Billboard Hot 100 is a weekly chart of the hottest songs in the US, combining data on sales, streaming and radio playback.
While Billboard 200 ranked the most popular albums in the US based on physical and digital album sales, streaming data, and album sales equivalent to each song.
Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 are the top music charts in the US that every K-pop artist wants to be on. Huntr/x and Saja Boys - fictional Kpop groups - are currently competing for direct achievements with famous Kpop artists.
On Spotify, every song in the album "Kpop Demon Hunters" entered the Top 100 global of this platform. Huntr/x's single "Golden" surpassed 3 million streams in just 1 day.
As of July 2, "Golden" is currently ranked 3rd on Spotify Global with 4.5 million streams, surpassing Jin BTS's "Don't Say You Love Me" (ranked 11th), "APT." by Rose Blackpink and Bruno Mars (ranked 15th), "Who" by Jimin BTS (ranked 16)...
Huntr/x equal Blackpink's record as the highest-charting K-pop girl group in US Spotify history, "Golden" reached No. 3 on US Spotify, paralling with Blackpink's "Shut Down" and "Sourandy".
In Korea, the public's reaction to the soundtrack album "Kpop Demon Hunters" is equally strong. Upon release, all songs in the film entered Melon's Top 100 international chart.

TWICE members Jungyeon, Jihyo and Chaeyoung participated in composing songs Takedown and Golden by Huntr/x. The producers of The Black Label (including Teddy) are the ones behind Golden, How It's done, Soda Pop and Your Idol.
