According to the latest aggregated data, as of 2:15 PM, there were approximately 61,760,000 voters participating in the vote, reaching 80.63% of the total voters on the list.

In which, many localities with very high voter turnout, especially 9 northern mountainous provinces such as Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang, and some other localities such as Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Lang Son, Nghe An, Thai Nguyen, have reached over 90% of voters participating in voting.

Notably, to date, 380 communes, wards and polling areas have completed voting with a voter participation rate of 100%, especially in armed forces areas and some highland areas.

According to the summary, the opening ceremony was organized by localities to ensure compliance with the law, solemnity, seriousness, safety, creating a lively, exciting, trusting and proud atmosphere for the people.

At 7 am, the election teams nationwide held the opening ceremony. In some localities, due to the specific characteristics of the area, areas with a large number of voters, armed forces, and some polling stations, the opening ceremony was held early before 7 am (such as Khanh Hoa province having some opening areas at 5 am; 6 am; 6:15 am; Ho Chi Minh City simultaneously opening at 6:45 am; Gia Lai province having 1,084 polling stations opening at 6:30 am... )

In most polling stations, there was the participation of representatives of Party committee leaders, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and elderly voters in localities (such as in An Giang, Quang Ninh, Quang Tri, Nghe An, Bac Ninh provinces... with many voters over 100 years old participating in direct voting, including voter Phung Thi Quat, 108 years old, participating in the election at Polling Station No. 8, Lo Bon hamlet, Kien Luong commune, An Giang province).

Especially, in some polling stations, there were Party and State leaders attending the opening ceremony, speaking and putting the first ballots into the ballot box. General Secretary To Lam voted at Polling Station No. 2, Ba Dinh Ward, Hanoi City; Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man voted at Polling Station No. 14, Hoc Mon Commune, Ho Chi Minh City; State President Luong Cuong voted at Polling Station No. 26, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi City; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh voted at Polling Station No. 21, Tay Ho Ward, Hanoi City.
