The Inspection Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh - Chief of the Office of the City People's Committee Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief of the Office of the Can Tho City People's Committee with a Warning.
The Inspection Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee stated: Comrade Nguyen Van Vinh, during his tenure as Party Committee Secretary and Chief of the Office of the City People's Committee, violated Party regulations, State laws on preventing and combating corruption and negativity and in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, causing bad public opinion, reducing the prestige of Party organizations, agencies, units and individuals to the extent that disciplinary action must be taken.
At the same time, considering the test results and criticism results, proposing discipline for comrade Vo Chi Xinh, member of the Party cell 4 of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee Office, Deputy Chief of Office of the City Party Committee; Former member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee Office of the City People's Committee, former Secretary of Party Cell 4, former Deputy Chief of Office of Can Tho City People's Committee.
Can Tho City Party Committee found that Mr. Vo Chi Xinh, during the time of the Deputy Chief of the City People's Committee Office, the Secretary of the Chairman of the City People's Committee in performing the assigned duties and tasks, has not yet performed in accordance with the Spirit of Directive No. 26-CT/TW of November 23, 2023 of the Secretariat about the organization of the Lunar New Year of Thin in 2024.
Considering the content, nature, level, and consequences of the causes; based on Party regulations, the Inspection Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee decided not to discipline and proposed to seriously review and draw profound lessons from the limitations and shortcomings pointed out.
