The Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee issued a press release for the regular meeting in August 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
Previously, on August 26, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a regular meeting for August 2025. Comrade Nguyen Van Gau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - chaired the Conference.
At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee reviewed and disciplined comrade Than Van Mau - former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province.
Through consideration, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee found that Comrade Than Van Mau violated Party regulations and State laws, violated regulations on things that Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example for cadres and Party members, especially key leaders at all levels; caused bad public opinion among cadres, Party members and the People, lost his own reputation, and reduced the prestige of the Party organization.
Considering the content, nature, extent, consequences, causes of the violation, and mitigating circumstances, based on Regulation No. 69-QD/TW dated July 6, 2022 of the Politburo on disciplining party organizations and party members who violate the law, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline comrade Than Van Mau with a warning.
