The Committee for Petitions and Supervision has a summary report on the National Assembly's petitions work in March and April 2026.
The report clearly stated that voters and people highly appreciate and believe in the proactiveness, flexibility, and decisiveness of the Party and State in leading, directing, and operating socio-economic development.
In particular, it is the continued synchronous implementation of solutions to promote growth, macroeconomic stability, inflation control, ensure major balances of the economy, ensure economic security, energy security, monetary security, food security, security, order and social safety.
Besides the achieved results, voters and people still have many concerns and worries about issues that directly affect life, social security and production.
Typical examples include ensuring domestic gasoline and oil supply and prices; the risk of food insecurity; extreme weather causing damage in many localities; lack of public schools, especially high schools in Hanoi.
In particular, voters are concerned and worried about the increased workload at the commune level after the arrangement of the apparatus, but the regime and policies are not commensurate; many obstacles in implementing administrative procedures, accessing public services; online fraud, theft of personal data continue to cause concern...
The report also shows that in March and April, National Assembly agencies and National Assembly delegations (NA deputies) received and processed 3, 249 complaints, denunciations, petitions, and reflections from citizens.
Through studying 480 eligible applications, agencies have transferred 306 applications to competent authorities for settlement, issued 58 guiding documents, responded to citizens' applications and received 174 response documents from competent authorities for applications that had been transferred previously.
According to Chairman of the Ethnic Council Lam Van Man, the National Assembly has been and is playing a very important role in ensuring that people's voices are listened to and responded to promptly.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh said that the National Assembly Standing Committee proposed that the Ethnic Council, Committees and National Assembly delegations pay more attention to supervisory activities according to their assigned fields, especially the contents and issues of concern to voters and people.
This leader pointed out that it is necessary to consider people's aspirations as an important input for legislative activities, supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country.
Issues that voters have reflected many times and have a wide impact related to the legitimate rights and interests of the people must be monitored and supervised to the end.
With the general spirit of listening to the people, understanding the people and serving the people substantively, answering the people promptly and clearly and resolving people's petitions thoroughly" - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Doan Anh said.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly added that doing well in people's aspirations will contribute to consolidating people's trust in the Party, State, Government, and National Assembly, and at the same time help the National Assembly better fulfill its role as a representative of the will and aspirations of the people.
