In the past week, voter contact activities took place very actively across the country to report on the results of the First Session, 16th National Assembly.
At the meetings, voters raised many hot issues with the desire for functional agencies to resolve them soon.
In Hanoi, many voters are interested in the investment project to build the Red River Landscape Avenue. Voter Tran Thi Van (Nam Phu commune) proposed that National Assembly deputies convey the thoughts and aspirations of the people regarding the proposal to maintain the original state of residential areas located in the investment project to build the Red River Landscape Avenue.
In Lam Dong, many voters gathered to reflect on difficulties and obstacles in resolving administrative procedures related to land.
People said that the land dispute situation has lasted for many years and has not been resolved thoroughly, affecting life and production.
Some cases of stable land use for decades but have not been granted land use right certificates or renewal dossiers are still errors and overlaps.
Notably, many land areas originating from agricultural and forestry farms that were contracted about 30 years ago have now been handed over to local management, but people have not yet been granted land use right certificates.
Voters also reflected that land use purpose conversion still has many shortcomings and proposed to soon resolve disputes definitively to limit prolonged complaints.
In Dong Thap, one of the issues of concern to voters is the overload at hospitals. According to reports, people have to queue very early for medical examinations, causing fatigue, especially for the elderly and seriously ill. The medical examination and treatment process still has many stages, causing waiting time to be prolonged.
Voters want to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment at the grassroots level, develop the family doctor model, and apply technology in remote consultation and medical examination and treatment to reduce the burden on upper levels.
Besides the health sector, the issue of marriage and family is also of concern to voters. The situation of divorce is increasing, many families break down when they have children, leaving long-term consequences for society.
Voters also reflected that some violations of the marriage regime have not been strictly handled, reducing traditional moral values.
Voters proposed that it is necessary to strengthen moral education and lifestyle in the family, and at the same time improve the law to have strong enough sanctions, contributing to limiting this situation.
In Gia Lai, many voters expressed concern about the management capacity of grassroots authorities in the context that communes are about to be allocated more authority.
Some opinions suggest that in the past, in many places, the settlement of procedures for people was still slow and lacked proactiveness; therefore, when assigned more powers, communes need to change their management thinking, improve their responsibility to serve people instead of simply performing administrative tasks.
Voters also expect that stronger decentralization will help solve work faster, reducing the situation where people have to travel many times as they do now.
At voter meetings, many opinions were answered satisfactorily, but some opinions were also recorded and fully summarized to be forwarded to competent authorities for consideration and resolution.
