On February 3, the Executive Committee of the Long An Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on the organization and personnel work.
At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Committee to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee into the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee, effective from March 1, 2025. At the conference, the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee was also announced to appoint Mr. Hoang Dinh Can - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee to hold the position of Head of the Long An Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee, effective from March 1, 2025 until retirement according to regulations.
At the conference, the decision of the Executive Committee of the Long An Provincial Party Committee on ending the activities of the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation, the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises from March 1, 2025 was also announced.
The Organizing Committee of Long An Provincial Party Committee also announced the decision to establish two Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee and the decisions to appoint the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Party Committee Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Party agencies under the Long An Provincial Party Committee was established, including 16 grassroots Party organizations (10 grassroots Party Committees and 6 grassroots Party cells), with a total of 563 Party members received from the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises; the time of operation is from March 1, 2025. At the same time, the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial Party agencies for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 21 members, was appointed.
Appoint Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Long An province - to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies for the 2020 - 2025 term.
Establishing the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee directly under the Provincial Party Committee, including 38 grassroots Party organizations (25 grassroots Party Committees and 15 grassroots Party cells), with a total of 3,900 Party members received from the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises. Time of operation from March 1, 2025.
At the same time, the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term was appointed, consisting of 19 members. Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Committee - was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Long An province - requested that units continue to do well in political and ideological work, strengthen propaganda work among all cadres and party members, strive to fulfill their tasks well and have absolute trust in the Party's leadership in streamlining the apparatus.
