On the morning of February 3, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Dong Thap province held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee. Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Thap province; Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Thien Nghia - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference.
At the conference, Mr. Tran Van Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and the Decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work. Accordingly, the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee was established on the basis of merging the current status of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee from February 3, 2025.
The organizational structure of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department after its establishment includes: Head of the Department and no more than 4 Deputy Heads of the Department; there are 4 internal units, including: Office; Department of Political Theory - Science - Culture; Department of Propaganda - Press - Publishing; Department of Mass Mobilization. The Standing Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee also mobilized and appointed Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department. At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Loan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee congratulated the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and the comrades receiving their new tasks. "The establishment of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission is based on the merger of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, aiming to streamline the apparatus to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the spirit of the Central's direction. Therefore, it is hoped that after its establishment, the collective of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovate the content and methods of operation, and strengthen coordination to successfully complete the assigned tasks" - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quoc Phong expected.
