The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee on the basis of merging the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee. The decision takes effect from February 3, 2025.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, to hold the position of Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission. The term of office is 5 years.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong was born in 1979, from An Giang, and has held the position of Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission since November 2023.
The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also appointed Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach Mai - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee.
The Deputy Heads of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee include: Le Hong Son - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Tang Huu Phong - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Tran Van Khuyen - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Tho Truyen - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
