At the meeting on the afternoon of December 11, the Hai Phong City People's Council passed 6 resolutions including: Adjusting the investment policy of the Project to build the Square in front of the Political - Administrative Center in the New Urban Area North of Cam River - Phase; adjusting the List of projects and works requiring land acquisition and the List of projects and works changing the purpose of using rice-growing land, protective forest land, special-use forest land, and production forest land in the city in 2024.
The City People's Council also passed a resolution stipulating criteria for deciding on bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land in the city; giving opinions on the regulation of percentages to calculate annual land rental prices; land rental prices for underground construction, land rental prices with water surface in Hai Phong city. At the same time, it passed a resolution stipulating the authority to decide on the procurement of goods, services and investment, procurement of information technology application activities using regular expenditure funds; adjusting and supplementing (for the 4th time) the city's public investment plan in 2024.
Also at the meeting, the Hai Phong City People's Council carried out personnel work according to regulations. In particular, Mr. Phung Van Thanh, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of Duong Kinh District Party Committee, was dismissed from the position of Head of the Urban Committee of the 16th City People's Council (term 2021-2026); Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of Hai An District Party Committee and Mr. Tran Van Phuong, Secretary of Cat Hai District Party Committee, were dismissed from the position of Member of the City People's Committee of the 16th term (term 2021-2026).
The City People's Council elected additional positions of members of the City People's Committee for the 16th term (2021-2026) for Mr. Pham Ngoc Duong, member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs and Mr. Duong Dinh On, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
