One year of cooperation between Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and Truth Publishing House

On December 21, Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and the National Political Publishing House Truth held a review of 1 year of implementing the Coordination Program.

The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong - Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth.

The cooperation program was signed from July 16, 2023, aiming to promote the potential of both sides, promote reading culture, raise political awareness and promote the image of Dien Bien province.

After 1 year of cooperation, initial effectiveness has been clearly demonstrated in many areas. Regarding propaganda work, major events such as the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 115th anniversary of the province's establishment were organized. Media channels were effectively exploited, spreading strongly to the community.

In the field of publishing, the two sides have jointly published 12 high-quality books on history, culture, and economics. Some outstanding publications, such as Dien Bien Phu - Moments from History (3 languages) and Vo Nguyen Giap - The People's General (many bilingual versions), have contributed to international promotion.

Organizing the National Workshop "Dien Bien promotes potential and advantages for sustainable tourism development" to propose many solutions to promote tourism and socio-economy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong praised the results achieved and suggested continuing to promote propaganda, compile books, and organize scientific seminars. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam affirmed the effective coordination and believed in the success of the next stage.

On this occasion, the two sides awarded Medals and Certificates of Merit to outstanding individuals and collectives in publishing and propaganda work.
