The economy maintains a good growth momentum, averaging 7.3%/year, the scale of the economy is increasingly expanding and ranking high nationwide.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh suggested that in terms of industry, Quang Ngai must develop in depth and high technology, taking Dung Quat Economic Zone as the core, promoting linkages with Chu Lai Open Economic Zone to form a national key industrial center.

Dung Quat is already a petrochemical industrial center but will be a large petrochemical center. Regarding tourism, it is necessary to create unique products, connect "forests" and "seas", realize the strategy of "one destination, three countries", turn the reputation of Ly Son special zone, landscape potential, Mang Den climate and the advantage of the Indochina cultural cape into a unique tourism product, where visitors can experience the diverse culture of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia in the same journey.
In the 2025-2030 term, it is necessary to invest in economic connectivity projects, especially transport infrastructure, complete the Quang Ngai - Kon Tum expressway, coastal road, Mang Den airport, Ly Son airport, upgrade key national highways, create a smooth traffic axis from the Central Highlands to the sea and connect internationally.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh expressed that we must always care for and improve the lives of the people. Economic development must go hand in hand with progress and social justice. We must implement social security policies, sustainable poverty reduction, especially paying attention to remote areas, ethnic minority areas, leaving no one behind.
