From September 10 to 12, Quang Ngai province will organize the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The bowel meeting was attended by the 1st Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, with the participation of 450 official delegates representing more than 91,788 Party members of the entire Provincial Party Committee.
The Congress voted to approve the Program of the election of the Presidium of 17 people, including:
Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. U Huan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuy - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Ms. Dinh Thi Hong Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Lu Ngoc Binh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Mr. Huynh Quoc Huy - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Ms. Truong Thi Linh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Mr. Ngo Van Trong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Nguyen Cao Phuc - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
Mr. Nguyen The Hai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Y Ngoc - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Y Thi Bich Tho - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Luong Kim Son - Head of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of the province; Mr. Tran The Phan - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Mr. Ho Song An - Director of the Provincial Police; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Kon Tum Ward People's Council.
The Congress elected a Secretariat of 3 people. Mr. Dang Minh Thao - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office - was assigned to be the Head of the Secretariat.
The Congress elected the Committee for the Inspection of the Representative status of 11 people, Mr. Huynh Quoc Huy - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee was assigned as Head of the Committee.
The Congress unanimously approved the internal rules, regulations and official Congress Program; Announcing the Decision to establish 16 Delegation Teams and the meeting location of the Delegation Teams at the Congress.
The results of the 2020 - 2025 term for the Party Committees of Quang Ngai and Kon Tum provinces are reported to have achieved the basic targets. Currently, the average GRDP of the newly established Quang Ngai province has grown by 7.3%, ranking 10th out of 34 provinces and cities after the merger.
After the merger, the new Quang Ngai province has the 5th largest area in the country. There are many conditions for the development of marine space; there is an East-West connection stretching from the border to the estuary; there are conditions and advantages in socio-economic development.
The goal of building a developed industrial province is a consistent goal. Currently, the industrial and service structure accounts for more than 2/3 of the province's economic structure and this is a direction where the economic structure is shifting very positively. Quang Ngai province still adheres to the goal of mobilizing all resources for industrial development. In particular, proactively calling on investors to participate in investing in infrastructure, building strategies for each industry and field.
Quang Ngai is setting a target, expecting a growth of over 10% in the 2025 - 2030 term to be completely feasible.
