Information from the National Assembly Office said that tomorrow (April 14), the 44th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will officially open.

According to the meeting program, in the morning, General Secretary of the National Assembly declared the reason and introducing delegates. Member of the Politburo, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man spoke at the opening session.

Here, the National Assembly Standing Committee commented on the Atomic Energy Law project (amended). At the same time, comment on the report on supervision of the settlement and response to the voters' recommendations to the 8th session, the XV National Assembly; Consider the National Assembly's prayer report in March 2025.

On the same day, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly reviewed and approved the Resolution of the Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units (replacing Resolution No. 35/2023/UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district and commune administrative units for the period 2023 - 2030).

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee also commented on the application for amendment and supplement of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; Establishing a draft committee to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; collect people's opinions on the draft amendment and supplement of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

The 44th session of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will be held in 2 phases, of which the first phase takes place from 14-17.4 (provision from 18 - 21.4); phase 2 from 22 - 28.4.
