Nghe An welcomes 76 remains of Vietnamese martyrs who died in Laos to their motherland

Nghe An - On May 18, in Muong Xen town (Ky Son district), Nghe An province solemnly held a ceremony to receive the remains of 76 Vietnamese martyrs who died in Laos.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of the Lao friend, there were leaders and special working groups from the provinces of Vientiane, Xieng Khoang and Xay Xom Bun.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of Special Working Department of Nghe An Province; comrades in the special delegation of the province; representatives of Ky Son district; with a large number of officials, teachers, students and people of all ethnic groups in Ky Son district.

The 76 sets of martyrs' remains collected this time are the result of the tireless efforts of the Gathering Team under the Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

That consensus and joint efforts have given the soldiers the motivation to gather and complete their tasks excellently, bringing the heroic martyrs back to their motherland after many years of separation.

After the solemn ceremony, the delegates, teachers, students and the people respectfully offered fresh wreaths, burning the fragrance to express their infinite gratitude and deep memory of the great merits of the heroic martyrs - the Vietnamese people who did not regret the blood and blood, fell because of the independence and freedom of the Father

According to the plan, after the welcoming ceremony in Ky Son district, 76 martyrs' remains will be handed over to the Department of Home Affairs of Nghe An province to collect samples of products on May 19, to serve the work of identifying and meeting the wishes of martyrs' relatives.

Then, on May 20, Nghe An province will hold a memorial service and bury the martyrs at Nghi Loc District Martyrs' Cemetery.
