Accordingly, on December 27, the Organizing Committee of the 80th National Public Security Conference announced and presented awards and emulation titles of the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in work and combat.
Authorized by the President, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang awarded the First Class Medal of Military Exploit to two groups: the Department of Security Investigation; the Department of Economic Police;
The three individuals receiving the First Class Military Exploit Medal include: Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police; Colonel Vu Nhu Ha - Director of Lang Son Provincial Police; Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan - Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police.
Awarding the Second Class Military Exploit Medal to the Office of the Ministry of Public Security and 4 individuals: Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Director of Nghe An Provincial Police; Major General Dao Xuan Lan - Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Public Security in the Lao People's Democratic Republic; Colonel To Anh Dung - Director of Ha Nam Provincial Police; Colonel Nguyen Thanh Truong - Director of Hung Yen Provincial Police.

Also this week, on December 27, the police sector also recorded the promotion of Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General. The ceremony to announce and present the decision to promote Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung was held at the Presidential Palace.
Expressing his honor at being promoted to the rank of Senior Lieutenant General by the Party and State, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung affirmed that this is not only an honor and pride for him personally, but also for the entire People's Public Security force.
