Le Chan ward is currently established on the basis of arranging the entire natural area and population of Hang Kenh, Du Hang Kenh, Kenh Duong wards, part of the natural area and population of An Bien, Tran Nguyen Han, Vinh Niem wards and the rest of Cau Dat ward, Lach Tray ward of Ngo Quyen district; is a ward with a small area (5.65 km2) but the largest population of the city (161,051 people) with great potential for socio-economic development.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to appoint the Executive Committee of the Le Chan Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 including 32 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee includes 11 comrades.
