At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong announced the Politburo's decision on ceasing to participate in the Central Inspection Committee, ceasing to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee, term XIII, 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet; transferring and appointing Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term and participating in the Party Committee of Military Region 7, term 2020 - 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Politburo member and Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung congratulated the new Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee and said that Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet is a cadre with basic training, high professional qualifications, scientific thinking and working methods, determined, democratic, highly appreciated by the Politburo and the Secretariat, and has made important contributions to the overall achievements of the units and localities where he has worked. The Politburo and the Secretariat believe that in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet will continue to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung suggested that immediately after taking on the new assignment, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the Long An Provincial Party Committee should lead the implementation of the tasks set by the Provincial Party Committee. In particular, focus on reviewing the targets and goals of the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress; lead the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, and the 12th Long An Provincial Party Congress. Speaking at the ceremony, the new Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet thanked the Politburo for trusting him with the important responsibility. Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet, 53 years old, from Ninh Binh, has a bachelor's degree in Law, master's degree in Party building and State government. He has worked at the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Court; Department of Justice, Notary Office, Inspection Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee. In September 2007, Mr. Quyet worked at the Central Inspection Committee, and was Director of the Department of Areas 5. At the 3rd Central Conference, July 2021, Mr. Quyet was elected as an additional member of the Central Inspection Committee, then held the position of Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee.
