On February 11, Mr. Trieu Dinh Le - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee (SC) on supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
By the end of 2024, 12,091 new houses in the province had been supported, reaching 72.7% of the plan. In 2024 alone, the number of supported houses was 6,394, reaching 89.7% of the target. Localities in the province also mobilized socialized resources to provide additional support to poor households.
In 2025, Cao Bang province aims to support 7,115 households, with a total budget of over 300 billion VND. At the meeting, delegates discussed difficulties in propaganda, screening and supporting the subjects. Localities also signed a commitment to complete support before the 20th Provincial Party Congress at the end of 2025.
Of which, 3 districts of Quang Hoa, Ha Lang, Cao Bang city committed to complete before June 2025, the remaining 7 districts committed to complete before October 2025.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Trieu Dinh Le requested units and localities to strengthen propaganda, mobilize resources and speed up implementation progress to complete the program on time.
