Approval of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province

    The Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province for Mr. Pham Duc An.

    On December 19, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1608/QD-TTg approving the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Pham Duc An - Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

    The decision takes effect from December 19, 2024.

    Mr. Pham Duc An was born in 1970; hometown Thanh Long commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province; degree: Advanced Political Theory; Bachelor of Economic Law, Bachelor of Banking - Finance, Master of Business Administration.

    Mr. Pham Duc An has many years of experience in the banking industry, holding the positions of Party Secretary, Director of Hung Yen Branch of the Bank for Investment and Development; Deputy General Director of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV); Chief of Office of the State Bank of Vietnam.

    Since May 2020, Mr. Pham Duc An has been Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development before being transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee on December 10, 2024.
