Deputy Prime Minister visits booths at the Investment Promotion Conference of Lao Cai province

Lao Cai - Not only is it a place to display products, this area is also expected to create an overall picture of the land, people and development potential of the locality.

On the morning of July 17, the Lao Cai Provincial Investment Promotion Conference 2026 solemnly took place at the Lao Cai Provincial Convention Center.

Before the Conference took place, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung, leaders of Lao Cai province and delegates visited booths introducing OCOP products and typical products of Lao Cai province.

The exhibition area gathers 79 booths of businesses, cooperatives and localities in the province. Many OCOP products, export products, typical and typical goods, and groups of products with potential and competitive advantages are selected for introduction.

The space is built to promote products, potentials and strengths of the locality, thereby contributing to enhancing the position and image of Lao Cai on the investment, trade and tourism map of the whole country.

In the investment promotion area, delegates were introduced to provincial planning maps, maps of key industrial zones and clusters such as Tran Yen Industrial Park, Phu Xuan Industrial Park, Phu Thinh 3 Industrial Cluster, Thong Nhat 1 Industrial Cluster.

At the same time, learn about typical industrial products such as kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets according to international standards; Japanese technology colored tiles, Terrazzo bricks, plastic granules, stone powder, fake wood plastic, cassava starch, export wood chips, along with products and services of Viettel, Viettel Post, VNPT and the system of documents, list of investment-aspiration projects of the province.

Through booths, businesses and investors can access typical products, learn about the potential for economic, commercial, and tourism development as well as the local investment environment.
