On May 5, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung signed Decision No. 797/QD-TTg on changing the Head of the Working Group on strengthening cooperation and proactively adapting to adjusting US economic and trade policies (Working Group).
According to the decision, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Pham Gia Tuc - Standing Deputy Prime Minister to be the Head of the Working Group to replace Mr. Bui Thanh Son who has resigned from the position of Deputy Prime Minister.
Other contents of Decision No. 713/QD-TTg dated April 3, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Working Group remain unchanged.
According to Decision No. 713/QD-TTg, the Task Force has the task of assisting the Prime Minister in closely monitoring the developments of the world and regional situation, especially adjusting US economic and trade policies to proactively advise, propose, and recommend to the Government and Prime Minister measures to adapt flexibly, promptly, appropriately, and effectively to the world and regional situation and US policy adjustments in the coming time.
From there, overcome challenges, seize opportunities, continue to maintain a peaceful and stable environment, a favorable foreign affairs situation, maximize external resources for growth and development of the country; direct and coordinate between ministries, agencies and localities to implement assigned requirements and tasks.
