Quang Binh - The province requires reviewing and developing a plan to handle unused and ineffective offices, ensuring transparent and compulsory management.

On March 25, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province announced that it had just issued a notice on handling unused, ineffective or unsuitable offices and establishments.

The province requires provincial departments, branches, sectors, units and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to conduct a comprehensive review, develop a plan to handle unused, ineffective or improperly used public assets. These plans must be prepared and sent to the Department of Finance before March 28, 2025 for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee for approval before April 7, 2025.

The units are responsible for developing a plan to rearrange and adjust the use of houses and land, and at the same time deciding to handle according to their authority or developing a plan to submit to competent authorities for approval. In addition, the units must also review the surplus houses and land that have not been previously reported and complete the dossier to send to the Department of Finance for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee.

The People's Committee of Quang Binh province emphasized that heads of provincial departments, branches, sectors, units and chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities must take full responsibility for the information, reported data and handling of unused, ineffective or improperly used public assets. The report must ensure accuracy, compliance with legal regulations and authority.

After the handling plan is approved, the units must report the implementation results to the Department of Finance before the 25th of the last month of the quarter for the Department of Finance to synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Finance before the 5th of the first month of the following quarter.
