This Resolution was passed after the Provincial Party Committee carefully reviewed the Submission of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee, based on the results of democratic discussions and a high unanimous vote. This Resolution adjusts a number of names previously proposed in Resolution No. 45-NQ/TU recently issued on April 18, 2025.
This is the result of listening to the opinions of many classes of people in a short time of Quang Nam leaders, to ensure that the new name is more suitable to the historical, cultural, traditional factors and aspirations of the local people.
The Standing Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee also concluded that, in order to soon bring new administrative units into stable operation, the Resolution assigned the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to lead the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to take the next steps. Accordingly, the provincial People's Committee will urgently organize widely consulted among the people about the new names that have been agreed. This is an important step to create a high consensus in society.
After summarizing the people's opinion, the name of the name will be submitted to the provincial People's Council for consideration and approval on April 26, 2025. Next, the complete dossier on the arrangement and new naming for communal administrative units will be submitted to the Government the Government for consideration and approval before 1.5.2025.
The Resolution also requires Party committees at all levels, authorities, relevant agencies and units across the province, based on their assigned functions and tasks, to urgently develop a plan and implement the contents of the Resolution, ensuring the quality of work and on schedule, contributing to stabilizing the organizational apparatus and people's lives in localities after the reorganization.
