On the morning of August 25, at the 7th Session, the 15th Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council listened to the report of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council introducing Ms. Vu Thi Mai Anh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Director of the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Home Affairs - to be elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the 15th Provincial People's Committee, term 2026-2031.
Based on the submission, at the session, delegates of the Provincial People's Council conducted a vote to elect the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for Ms. Vu Thi Mai Anh. As a result, Ms. Vu Thi Mai Anh was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of the XV term, term 2026-2031 with a 100% approval rate of delegates attending the session.
Also at the meeting, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council unanimously dismissed the title of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of the XV term, term 2026-2031, for Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, due to being transferred, assigned and appointed to hold the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
Ms. Vu Thi Mai Anh, born in 1976, native of Hong Gai ward, Quang Ninh province, used to hold the positions of: Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ninh province; Deputy Secretary, then Standing Deputy Secretary cum Chairman of the former Ha Long City People's Council; Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, then Director of the Department of Home Affairs cum Deputy Head of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee.
