Mr. Quan Minh Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province - chaired the conference.
At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee announced the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on personnel work. Accordingly, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee transferred and appointed Mr. Ho Quang Huy - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Mong Cai 1 ward - to hold the position of Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, introducing him to the Provincial People's Council to elect the title of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
Mr. Ho Quang Huy, born in 1977, used to hold the positions of: former Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee, Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Finance, former Chairman of Mong Cai City People's Committee.
At the conference, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong presented the decision to transfer and appoint Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien - Director of Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade - to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of Mong Cai 1 Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
Mong Cai 1 ward has a particularly important position, being the central area of the international border gate area, directly adjacent to Dongxing city (China), and also a key hub for economic, trade, tourism and foreign affairs exchange of Quang Ninh province.
