At the second session, the 8th term People's Council of Quang Tri province will discuss and decide on 41 reports, projects, submissions, and draft resolutions submitted to this session that are of special importance in implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security in 2025 and the entire period of 2021-2025.
Notably, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province will submit a draft Resolution regulating support policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers at administrative agencies, organizations and units implementing the arrangement and work at provincial and commune-level administrative centers in the area.
On August 13, the Provincial People's Committee said that the policy goal is to create conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to quickly stabilize working conditions and work with peace of mind at the new administrative - political center headquarters after the arrangement.
According to the draft, the support level for people who have not been allocated public housing is 3 million VND/person/month; in cases where public housing has been allocated, it is 1 million VND/person/month. For commune-level cadres, civil servants and public employees with a new working headquarters 50km or more from the old headquarters (the plains) or 40km or more (the mountainside, border area) will be supported with 1 million VND/person/month.
According to statistics, Quang Tri province has 1,690 people subject to support (1,315 people in the State sector; 375 people in the Party sector). The number of commune-level cadres with distance traveled eligible for support is expected to be about 20 people. Currently, the province has 69 public housing rooms, providing accommodation for about 100-125 people; the remaining 1,590 people have not been arranged public housing.
The total estimated cost of implementing the policy is 120 billion VND, of which support for 1,628 people without official housing is more than 119.6 billion VND and support for 20 people at the commune level is about 480 million VND.
