On June 23, the survey delegation of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Social Affairs led by Mr. Ta Van Ha - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Social Affairs worked with the People's Committee of Hung Yen province on the implementation of policies and laws for Vietnamese workers going to work abroad under contracts and child protection in the online environment.
According to the Hung Yen Provincial Department of Home Affairs, from 2022 to now, the whole province has had 43,556 turns of workers going to work abroad. Among them, Japan is the market that receives the most workers with 23,437 people, followed by Taiwan (China): 15,610 people, Korea (1,291 people) and other countries ( 3,218 people). Labor mainly works in the fields of industry, construction, services, agriculture, fisheries, health and nursing.
Currently, in the province, there are 2 enterprises with headquarters performing the function of selecting and sending workers to work abroad under contracts, along with 37 units and enterprises outside the province participating in selecting workers. The activity of sending workers to work abroad is implemented in accordance with regulations, contributing to solving employment, improving income and quality of human resources.

However, the province still faces some difficulties such as the quality of labor not fully meeting the requirements of high-quality markets; participation costs are still high; labor management after exiting the country faces many obstacles; the connection and effective use of labor resources after completing contracts and returning to localities is still limited.
Besides, there is still a situation of taking advantage of job demand to send workers to work abroad illegally.
At the working session, members of the survey delegation requested the province to further clarify the contents related to the strategy to attract workers who have returned from working abroad to their localities; solutions to improve the quality of labor resources; management of labor export enterprises; effectiveness of digital skills education and prevention of child abuse in the online environment.

Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Quang Hoa emphasized the necessity to continue to improve mechanisms and policies to improve the efficiency of managing the operation of sending workers to work abroad under contracts, and at the same time promote the effectiveness of human resources after workers return to their localities.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Ta Van Ha acknowledged the province's recommendations, highly appreciated Hung Yen's proactiveness in implementing policies related to workers going to work abroad and protecting children in the online environment.
At the same time, it is proposed that the province continue to review and evaluate the effectiveness of current policies, strengthen management of labor recruitment activities, prevent illegal brokerage and promote solutions to prevent and protect children in cyberspace.
