Giving opinions on preparing for the Second Session, 16th National Assembly

    On May 10, information from the National Assembly Office said that tomorrow (May 11), the second session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place at the National Assembly building.

    It is expected that, according to the program of the second session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man will deliver the opening speech and together with the Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly take turns managing the content of the Session.

    At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and approve the Ordinance amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Ordinance on Merging Legal Documents.

    Regarding supervision work, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider the report on people's aspirations of the National Assembly in March and April 2026.

    Also at this meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will summarize the first session and give initial opinions on the preparation for the second session, the 16th National Assembly.
