On the afternoon of June 7, in Hanoi, the 8th Congress of the State Audit Party Committee (SAC) for the 2025-2030 term took place.

Sending congratulations to the comrades in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the 8th KTNN Party Committee, term 2025-2030, who have just been appointed by the National Assembly Party Committee, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man recognized these as exemplary comrades in quality, capacity and prestige, expected to promote their role as a core leader, united, unified, dynamic and creative.

According to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the achievements that the Party Committee and the Audit sector have achieved in the recent term have been demonstrated with some outstanding results.

Firstly, in the recent term, the State Audit Party Committee has promoted its role as a leadership core, strengthened leadership, and directed cadres and party members to improve the quality and efficiency of work. Political, ideological work, and cadre organization were implemented methodically; Party discipline was maintained.

Second, the State Audit Office issued many legal documents and management documents, ensuring legality, in accordance with the auditing activities of the State Audit Office, notably the issuance of the new State Audit Standards System and the Code of Conduct of State Auditors, as a basis for testing, evaluating quality and professional ethics; improving responsibility, ethics and professionalism in auditing activities.

Thirdly, renovating the organizational structure and improving the quality of human resources implemented by the SAV seriously and promptly, contributing to improving the operation, effectiveness, performance and efficiency of units directly under the SAV. The highlight is to streamline the organizational structure, implement Resolution No. 18 on streamlining the apparatus, the Party Committee, the Party Audit Committee has decided: Not establishing 8 more units at the level of the case; convert the operating model of the Informatics Center into the Information Technology Department; Review and arrange functions and tasks for affiliated units, reducing 12 room units.

Fourth, innovate and improve the quality of auditing activities, audit activities are increasingly quality and in-depth; operate flexible auditing activities, in accordance with developments in each period.

Developing "technology" is one of the important pillars in the development strategy of the State Audit Office until 2030, aiming to form a digital audit and publicize and make transparent activities and audit reports.

Fifth, as a member of the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Affairs, the Party Committee Secretary and the State Audit have implemented many solutions to strengthen leadership and direction in preventing and combating corruption and negativity within the State Audit and in auditing activities.

In particular, in the past term, the first time the State Auditor has participated in the questioning session and answered questions at the National Assembly session. The content of questioning and answering questions has received attention and appreciated from the National Assembly deputies and voters nationwide.

National Assembly Chairman directs 5 key tasks for the State Audit Party Committee

In addition to the achieved results, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man also agreed with the frank assessments in the Report on shortcomings and limitations.

The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the Party Committee should focus on implementing well the following key tasks:

1. Continue to build a clean, strong, comprehensive, united and sharing Party Committee. Pay special attention to political and ideological work, improve leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization.

2. Improve the quality of auditing work, better serve the Supreme Supervisory tasks of the National Assembly. Strengthen audits of areas prone to negative incidence, corruption, waste; hot issues of concern to the National Assembly and voters...

3. Leaders build a team of "both rosy and specialized" cadres with high professional capacity, pure professional ethics, and strong political will.

4. Lead the improvement of institutions and laws on auditing organization and activities. Coordinate well with agencies of the National Assembly, the Government, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and audited units to perform well the auditing function.

5. thoroughly grasp and carry out auditing activities on 4 Resolutions considered the "four pillars" for the country to take off, which are Resolution 57 on developing science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution 59 on international integration in the new situation; Resolution 66 on innovation in law-making and enforcement; Resolution 68 on developing the private economic sector.
