On August 4, information from the Government Inspectorate said that it had just issued a Report on the results of handling and responding to voters' petitions sent before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.
The report stated: Voters agreed with the restructuring of the state apparatus but were concerned about the risk of wasting public assets and recommended that timely measures should be taken to prevent and combat corruption and waste.
Responding to this proposal, the Government Inspectorate said that, implementing the Resolutions of the National Assembly on streamlining the administrative apparatus and building a two-level local government, the Government and the Prime Minister have issued many documents directing a comprehensive review and rearrangement and rearrangement of headquarters and facilities that have been equipped to avoid loss and waste, ensuring compliance with practical requirements.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued a telegram requesting ministries, branches and localities to step up the implementation of asset handling plans after the arrangement and organization of the apparatus and administrative units at all levels; strengthen inspection and examination of the arrangement and handling of assets before, during and after the process of streamlining the apparatus; assign comrades in the Standing Committee to directly monitor, direct and lead the arrangement and arrangement of headquarters and facilities for each field and area.
The Government Inspectorate and the Inspectorate proactively organize the effective implementation of inspections according to the Plan and surprise inspections according to instructions.
Through the inspection, violations were detected and recommended to handle 129 trillion VND, an increase of 28.8%, transferring 118 cases to the investigation agency with signs of violating criminal law, an increase of 48.7% over the same period last year.
Notably, the Government Inspectorate said that it is developing a Plan and outline to guide thematic inspections on preventing and combating waste in the management and use of real estate facilities at agencies, organizations and state-owned enterprises to organize implementation throughout the industry.
