On the afternoon of December 6, the People's Council of Soc Trang province, term X, 2021-2026, closed its 27th session.
The meeting reviewed and approved 21 reports, 43 submissions; 4 inspection reports of the Provincial People's Council Committees and many discussions in the hall; approved 46 resolutions; conducted a question-and-answer session with the Vice Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial People's Committee and 5 Department Directors, leaders of Soc Trang Water Supply Joint Stock Company on groups of issues of interest to voters and People's Council delegates.
Speaking at the closing session, Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Soc Trang province - requested the Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of the province to urgently implement the resolutions that have just been passed, ensuring compliance with procedures and legal regulations.
Directing sectors and levels to promptly consider and resolve voters' legitimate recommendations and proposals; pressing and urgent issues arising in practice. Properly and fully implement commitments made to the People's Council and voters, ensuring that issues are resolved thoroughly and in accordance with regulations.
In 2024, the People's Council of Soc Trang province successfully held 9 sessions; reviewed and approved 168 resolutions to promptly share difficulties with people, support businesses; maintain and stabilize production; contribute to the timely implementation of socio-economic development tasks of the province. The Standing Committee and Committees of the People's Council organized 9 thematic supervision sessions and 8 surveys.
