Vietnam General Confederation of Labor thoroughly implements Resolution 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee

On the morning of December 1, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor attended a national conference to disseminate and summarize the implementation of Resolution 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee.

The conference was organized by the Politburo and the Secretariat in a direct and online format from the central bridge to the provincial, district and commune bridges.

Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor chaired at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor office.

The main bridge at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor office was attended by the Standing Committee, members of the Presidium, leaders and all civil servants of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; leaders of Party committees, professionals, and trade unions of units under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

In addition, affiliated units have connection points to organize for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to attend at the unit.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also organizes online bridges to provincial and municipal Labor Federations, Central and equivalent Industry Trade Unions, and Trade Unions of Corporations under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At Lao Dong Newspaper, cadres, reporters, civil servants and workers study and thoroughly understand the Resolution at the newspaper's bridge point.

Nearly 100 points of connection with more than 3,000 union officials attended the conference.

Delegates attending the conference listened to the main and key contents in the implementation of the summary of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee; the topic "Removing institutional bottlenecks and bottlenecks"; the topic "Report on the socio-economic situation in 2024; solutions to accelerate socio-economic development in 2025"...

On October 25, 2017, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam issued Resolution 18-NQ/TW of 2017, the 6th Conference of the 12th Central Executive Committee, on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.

The general objective of the resolution is to continue to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently and in accordance with the socialist-oriented market economy institution in order to strengthen the leadership role of the Party; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of State management and the quality of operations of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; and promote the people's mastery.

Streamlining staffing is associated with restructuring, improving quality, and effectively using the staff of cadres, civil servants, and public employees; reducing regular expenditures and contributing to reforming salary policies.
