On October 5, the Office of the People's Committee of Son La province informed that the Provincial People's Council has just issued a resolution on the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, former Director of the Department of Finance, from the position of member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 15th term, 2021 - 2026, due to being assigned to other work by the competent authority.
This Resolution was passed by the 15th term People's Council of Son La province, 23rd thematic session on October 2, 2024 and takes effect from the date of passage.
Previously, on August 29, the Son La Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee held a conference to announce the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee's decision on personnel work.
The conference announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on receiving and transferring Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Finance - to work at the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; appointed to hold the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, from September 1, 2024.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh (born in 1975) is from Hong Van commune, An Thi district, Hung Yen province. Before becoming Director of the Department of Finance, Mr. Thanh held the position of Chairman of the People's Committee and then Secretary of the Muong La District Party Committee.
