Lam Dong - The Provincial People's Council has just passed a Resolution approving the policy of merging the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong into a new province.

On April 29, Lam Dong Provincial People's Council announced that the unit had issued a Resolution (No. 405/NQ-HDND) on approving the policy of arranging provincial-level administrative units.

In which, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces will be merged into a new province, named Lam Dong province. The current political - administrative center is located in Lam Dong.

After the merger, the new Lam Dong province has a natural area of 24,233.07km2 and a population of about 3,872,999 people.

The People's Council assigned the Provincial People's Committee to complete the dossier, submit it to competent authorities for approval and implement it after the project is approved.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council, the delegates of the provincial People's Council and the provincial People's Council delegates the process of implementing the Resolution in accordance with the law.
