Strengthening inspection and allocation of support funds to the people

On March 20, the Supervisory Delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front worked with the Relief Mobilization Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province on the management, use and allocation of funds to support people affected by storm No. 3.

The monitoring delegation was headed by Ms. To Thi Bich Chau, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Standing Deputy Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Dinh Cong Thuc, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province; representatives of relevant departments and branches of Phu Tho province.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and shared methods and problems in the implementation process, allocated resources to help people in Phu Tho province affected by storm No. 3 rebuild their lives.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Standing Deputy Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, said that in the process of implementing the management, use and allocation of funds to support people affected by storm No. 3, Phu Tho province has made public and transparent the support resources of organizations and individuals according to the methods of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, updated daily data, highly appreciated by all classes of people and public opinion. This is a good experience that needs to continue to be promoted in the coming time, as a basis for building the trust of organizations and individuals in the role of mobilizing, coordinating and managing support resources of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Mr. Phung Khanh Tai requested the Relief Mobilization Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province to seriously accept the assessment opinions of the Supervisory Team to promptly overcome the limitations and shortcomings in the implementation process.

Vice Chairwoman To Thi Bich Chau acknowledged and highly appreciated the timely proactiveness of the Relief Mobilization Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province in managing, using and allocating funds to support people affected by storm No. 3, basically meeting the goals and instructions that have been implemented.

Vice Chairwoman To Thi Bich Chau suggested that the Relief Mobilization Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province continue to complete the report and fully synthesize statistics for each locality. In particular, the process of completing documents and books needs to prioritize digitalization and the application of information technology to make it more convenient for work in the future.

In addition, representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province need to directly inspect the communes, ensure close attention in work, and guide grassroots Front cadres to effectively implement the management, use, and allocation of funds to support the people, thereby helping to grasp the situation and actual data in the province.

Vice President To Thi Bich Chau emphasized that, with the role and responsibility of the Front in the coming time, the Relief Mobilization Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province need to pay attention to using and allocating support funds to quickly reach the people affected by storm No. 3.

Regarding the implementation of the emulation movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" nationwide, Vice Chairwoman To Thi Bich Chau said that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province needs to promote its role in propagating and mobilizing people in the province to contribute resources, working days, joining hands, and contributing with local authorities. This is a practical work with profound humanitarian significance, contributing to promoting the strength of national solidarity, soon realizing the dream of settling down for the poor.
