Also attending were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Minh Tri; members of the Party Central Committee: Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai; Head of the National Assembly's Judicial Committee Le Thi Nga; Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Office Pham Gia Tuc.
Reviewing the achievements of the sector in recent times, President Luong Cuong assessed that the Court sector has successfully completed its assigned tasks and achieved many positive results, contributing significantly to maintaining political stability, ensuring social order and safety, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the State, organizations and citizens, and creating a safe legal corridor for political, economic and social activities of the country.
Suggesting a number of key issues, the President requested the Court sector to strictly implement the Party's policy on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus to be streamlined - strong - effective - efficient - effective - efficient; linking organizational innovation with leadership innovation; ensuring the structure of the staff, civil servants and public employees with sufficient qualities, capacity, and reasonable staffing; standardizing scientific and practical job titles and positions. At the same time, well implementing the work of training and fostering professional skills; educating professional ethics for the staff and civil servants of the sector.
The President noted that it is necessary to strengthen the Party's leadership over the activities of the Court, uphold the principle of democratic centralism, promote the leadership role of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities and unions in each Court agency; improve the quality of activities of Party organizations and the quality of Party members in the People's Court sector.
The President also requested the Court sector to continue to do a better job of coordinating with departments, ministries and sectors in activities such as the Central Internal Affairs Commission, the Procuracy, the Public Security... on the basis of complying with the Party's regulations and the State's laws; promoting internal strength along with doing well in international cooperation activities; absorbing and learning the good, new and suitable points of the international judiciary.
Also at the meeting, the President answered and gave his opinion on a number of proposals and recommendations of the Supreme People's Court; requested the Court sector to review personnel work, improve working conditions; review a number of projects, ensuring effectiveness and practicality. At the same time, he removed obstacles, studied and proposed adjustments, amendments and supplements to laws related to the sector's activities to make them suitable, practical and effective.
Promoting the tradition of the Court sector and the achievements gained in the past time, the President believes that each cadre, civil servant, judge, people's assessor and employee of the People's Court sector, with the spirit of solidarity, determination, joint efforts and unanimity, will overcome difficulties and challenges, fulfill their tasks and responsibilities well, develop more comprehensively and strongly in the coming time, contribute worthily to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people.
Before the meeting, the President visited the Center for Monitoring and Operation of the People's Court. This is considered the "digital brain" of the Court, helping to manage and direct the activities of the Court quickly, promptly and effectively.
