Immediately after being appointed by the Politburo to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet shared about major orientations to make Tay Ninh develop strongly in the new period.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet affirmed: With the achieved results, it can be affirmed that the 1st Tay Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, has been a great success. The entire Congress has shown great political determination when passing the Congress Resolution. In particular, the Congress agreed to set the goal: By 2030, Tay Ninh province will have a dynamic and sustainable development economy; especially a strategic connecting center between the Southeast region and the Mekong Delta, and at the same time a strategic trade hub with Cambodia and ASEAN countries.
The 1st Congress of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, agreed on 22 main targets, including targets that demonstrate strong development aspirations such as economic growth of 10-10.5%, budget revenue increase of 50%, average income per capita of over 94 million VND, striving for the whole province to have no poor households by 2030.
Regarding key tasks, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet said: "Continuing to promote traditional resources that we have done very well in the recent past. That is to continue reforming administrative procedures, cutting unnecessary procedures, shortening time, saving costs; promptly removing bottlenecks; creating a truly open investment, production and business environment and strongly attracting investment".
In addition, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized the focus on investment in strategic infrastructure: "Conserve to mobilize and focus all resources on investment development, especially transport infrastructure, energy infrastructure, ... to build a convenient, smooth transportation system, strongly and closely connecting with Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces, as well as trade border gates with Cambodia, ... to ensure investment attraction, maximize the potential and advantages of the locality".
He also clearly stated the long-term orientation on human resources: "Continuing to pay attention to training and attracting human resources; especially high-quality human resources to meet the increasingly high development requirements".
According to Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet, to complete the set goals, Tay Ninh will promote the application of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, improve productivity and product quality, and at the same time "focus on doing a good job in building the Party and the political system; enhancing the leadership role of the Party Committee; building a team of cadres who are truly outstanding, competent and prestigious, meeting the development requirements in the new period".
