The congress was attended by 447 delegates, representing 94,257 party members in the entire Provincial Party Committee.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee shared: "Today's Congress is a major historical milestone, the first congress after the Provincial Party Committee and the whole country carried out a revolution to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the political system; merge the two provinces of Long An - Tay Ninh and reorganize commune-level administrative units.

Previously, the first Tay Ninh Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term held a spring session on October 8.
The 1st Congress of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, took place from October 8 to 10 with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", focusing on summarizing the term 2020-2025, determining the direction, goals and development solutions in the period 2025 - 2030, contributing to building Tay Ninh into a province with dynamic, civilized and sustainable development.
Also on the morning of October 9, before the 1st Tay Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet and the provincial delegation laid wreaths and offered incense to visit the heroic martyrs at the Provincial Heroes and Martyrs Memorial. Also attending were comrades from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and representatives of departments, branches and localities.
