On the afternoon of March 24, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Thai Nguyen province organized a Conference to announce the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work.
At the conference, the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Duong Huu Buong - Director of the Department of Science and Technology to hold the position of Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Thai Nguyen province was announced. The term of appointment is 5 years, from March 23, 2026.
Awarding the decision and delivering a speech assigning tasks, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Nong Quang Nhat emphasized that the consolidation of leadership personnel of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions is of great significance in the context that the province is promoting the implementation of ethnic and religious policies.
The Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee requested that in the new position, the new Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions continue to promote his capacity and work experience; and perform well all assigned tasks.
Mr. Duong Huu Buong, Tay ethnicity, born in 1978; professional qualifications Doctor of Science and Technology Management. Mr. Buong used to hold the positions of Chief of Office of the Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee (old), Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Thai Nguyen province.
Previously, on the morning of March 24, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on transferring, appointing, rotating, and appointing cadres.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to transfer, assign, and appoint Mr. Hoang Thanh Oai - Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
