On March 22, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong - Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee - chaired the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee Conference on personnel work.
At the conference, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office announced the Decision of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee approving the results of the election of Mr. Bui Van Luong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that the Secretariat's approval of the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for Mr. Bui Van Luong is recognition and high appreciation for Mr. Luong's political qualities, ethics, capacity and contributions in the past time.
At the same time, it shows the Central Government's concern for the Provincial Party Committee in timely consolidating the key cadre team.
The Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee requested Mr. Bui Van Luong in his new position to continue to promote his capacity, experience, and strengths, and together with the collective successfully implement the set goals and tasks.
Previously, on March 10, at the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee Conference for the term 2025 - 2030, Mr. Bui Van Luong was elected as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030 with an absolute number of votes.
Mr. Bui Van Luong was born on September 2, 1976, native of Van Xuan ward, Thai Nguyen province, with a high-level political theory level, and holds a PhD in Economic Management.
Before being elected as Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Bui Van Luong had held leadership positions such as Chairman of the People's Committee, Secretary of Pho Yen City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
In August 2025, Mr. Bui Van Luong was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, term XIV, 2021 - 2026.
