Commander of Da Nang Military Command promoted to military rank ahead of schedule
On July 8, in Da Nang City, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 5 held a conference to announce and present the decision of the Ministry of National Defense on personnel work.
The conference announced the decisions of the Ministry of National Defense on retirement of cadres, appointment of unit presiding officers, promotion of military ranks and salary increase for colonel-level officers.
There are 11 officers who retired according to Decree 177/2024/ND-CP, Decree 178 of the Government; 3 officers were appointed for a term; 14 officers were promoted from lieutenant colonel to colonel; 4 officers were promoted to colonel before the term; along with that, 31 officers were increased in salary for colonel-level officers in different periods.
Among them, the Commander of Military Region 5 awarded the decision to promote the officer rank ahead of schedule from the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel to Mr. Tran Huu Ich - Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command (CHQS) with outstanding achievements, and was awarded the title of "Emulation Fighter of the entire army" by the Ministry of National Defense.
Military Region 4 awards decision to raise salary, promote rank of colonel
On July 7, Military Region 4 held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work in 2025.
At the conference, authorized by the Minister of National Defense, the Head of the Military Region Command presented decisions to 56 officers to be salary increased and promoted to the rank of colonel in 2025, including:
Promote the rank of colonel from lieutenant colonel to colonel for 27 officers, of which 3 are promoted before the term; increase the salary of a first colonel to 23 officers, increase the salary of a second colonel to 6 officers.
The Military Medical Academy awards the decision to promote the rank of colonel to officers
On July 7, in Hanoi, the Military Medical Academy held a conference to announce and award decisions on promotion of colonel-level officers and salary increases for lieutenant colonels and colonels in 2025.
On this occasion, according to the decision of the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Medical Academy has 67 officers promoted to the rank of colonel, raising the salary of lieutenant colonel and colonel.
Of which, 18 officers were promoted from lieutenant colonel to colonel on the right term and 18 officers were promoted from lieutenant colonel to colonel before the term.
