According to Mr. Tung, immediately after the decision to prosecute, the Provincial People's Committee temporarily assigned Mr. Le Duc Giang's duties in charge of the fields to other Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee. In the long term, the authorities will review personnel work, ensuring timeliness and compliance with regulations. The general principle is that work must always be guaranteed to go smoothly, Mr. Tung emphasized.
It is expected that tomorrow, the Office of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee will have an official announcement on the assignment of detailed tasks to each area in charge.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, a number of leaders and officials of state management agencies in Thanh Hoa province have taken advantage of their positions and powers for personal gain and motives, violating assigned tasks in appraisal, consultation, and licensing of mineral exploitation, causing particularly serious damage to state assets and causing public outrage.
