On the afternoon of June 26, within the framework of the 20th Conference of the 11th An Giang Provincial Party Committee, chaired by Mr. Le Hong Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee - announced the Decision to establish An Giang Newspaper and Radio and Television.
According to Decision No. 6830-QD/TU dated June 24, 2025 of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, An Giang Newspaper and Radio - Television was established on the basis of merging An Giang Newspaper, An Giang Radio and Television Station, and An Giang Provincial Party Committee Electronic Information Portal.
At this Conference, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee continued to announce the Decision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint Mr. Nguyen Xuan Bang - Director of An Giang Radio and Television Station, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of An Giang Radio and Television Newspaper, from June 24, 2025.
This decision also appoints 5 Deputy Editor-in-Chief of An Giang Newspaper and Radio and Television, including: Nguyen Thanh Tin, Pham Thanh Mieng - previously Deputy Editor-in-Chief of An Giang Newspaper and Tran Thi Hong Hanh, Nguyen Cong Tinh, Ngo Ngoc Chuan - previously Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Radio and Television Station.
The Conference also announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee to allow 2 leaders of An Giang Newspaper to retire early according to their wishes to enjoy policies and regimes according to the provisions of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP, from July 1, 2025, including Editor-in-Chief Tran Thi Bich Van and Deputy Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Hoang Anh Tuan.
