In document No. 2867/UBND-KGVX, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province agreed to let TH Group study and conduct procedures to allow the establishment of TH University ( accumulation) in Bac Ninh province according to the provisions of Articles 94 and 95 of Decree 125/2024/ND-CP of the Government.
The research location is located in the University Urban Area II in Tien Du district with a scale of 750 hectares, the area of educational land for research is about 137 hectares, located in the Sub-zone 11 and Sub-zone 18, in accordance with the Provincial Planning in Decision 1589/QD-TTg.
Conditions and procedures for land allocation for project implementation comply with current legal regulations.
The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requested TH Group Joint Stock Company to complete the procedures for allowing the establishment of a private university according to regulations, report to the Ministry of Education and Training and relevant agencies.
As previously reported by Lao Dong, in April 2025, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province received a document from TH Group regarding the request for approval to establish TH University in Bac Ninh province.
After that, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Construction and related sectors to review the proposed content of TH Group, advise and report to competent authorities for consideration and decision.
In the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, Bac Ninh will form university urban areas to attract higher education institutions from Hanoi Capital to move to or build branches in the province.
Currently, the Hanoi Law University campus 2 project is under construction with an area of nearly 28 hectares in Tu Son City (Bac Ninh province), with a total investment of more than 1,700 billion VND.
The project of Hanoi Medical University, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, Foreign Trade University, Training Facility - under Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Bac Ninh province is also in the process of implementation. Bac Ninh province plans to support these 4 projects with about 720 billion VND.
TH Group was established in 2009 and is currently operating many beverage and food projects, including the production and processing of fresh milk, nut milk, etc.
